There are five topics I am bringing back into my polymath journey:
π©πΎβπ¨ Art
As a kid, I took different art classes and typically went to arts-oriented schools. I enjoyed making Art as well as indulging in it. I used to spend almost every weekend on the museum mile and volunteered at a few art museums in NYC when I had the chance.
π§ Psychology/Neurodiversity
I first fell in love with psychology when I came across my first psychology textbook during middle school. Since then, I’ve been intrigued by learning more about how and why humans think, feel, and act the way we do. In recent years I’ve focused specifically on Autism, ADHD, and Neurodiversity as these affect me directly.
π©πΏββοΈMedicine
When I first discovered MIT Opencourseware, I made it part of my Polymath Journey to take at least one Health and Medicine course per month to improve my knowledge of diseases, biology, and neurology. Fun fact, I went to a high school focused on health.
π History
Last year I read plenty of books on productivity self-help and a few memoirs. This year I am heavily focusing on learning more about the History and experience of African American, Asian, and Indigenous people.
π©πΎβπ« MBA aka Business
I have started many businesses. However, as I have moved to a digital business model in the past 5 to 6 years, I’ve come to realize there is so much more to learn, especially about branding, marketing, copy, design, and user experience.
It would be great to connect with other people interested in these same topics. So if any of the above resonates, I have a newsletter around these topics and Cybersecurity.
