Homemade Boba Pearls From Scratch


  • 70ml water
  • 120g tapioca starch
  • 60g honey or brown sugar
  • 2 saucepans


Boba Pearls

  1. cook in saucepan water, sugar or honey until it bubbles
  2. add tapioca starch
  3. stir until it becomes dough
  4. remove from saucepan
  5. roll out dough into long log
  6. cut into small pieces based on the size pearl you want
  7. roll small pieces into balls (if using honey, move quick b/c the honey hardens quickly)
  8. cool pearls for 20-30mns in water until see through
