Chrome Experiments – Song Maker

I like to spend Sunday evenings or most of my weekends working on creative technology projects. When I’m not creating something of my own or software of my own I’m usually checking in to see what are the ladies experiments that I can fine within Google that’s available for public use. I recently discovered this Chrome Experiment called Song Maker.

Song Maker, the newest experiment in Chrome Music Lab, is a simple way for anyone to make and share a song. Built by Google Creative Lab, Yotam Mann, and Use All Five using Web Audio APIWebMIDITone.js, and more. Learn more on our Github page.

Every few months or so I normally make songs within garage band but I really enjoy making music visually, What is naturally drawn to the song maker and this is now my go to place take experiment with songs visually. There are some caveat to song maker such as the length of the songs you’re allowed to make and the instruments that you’re allowed to use.

If you’d like to make some music and just have fun with yourself or your family or kids check out those chrome experiment here.
